Rita-Marie Lenton’s path to becoming a Funeral Celebrant began on Christmas Eve in 1996, during what she describes as the funeral from hell, her own mother’s service.
That profound experience ignited a deep desire to understand the funeral process and ensure that no family had to endure what she did.
For over 25 years, Rita-Marie has worked in the Funeral Industry in various roles, including funeral director, arranger, assistant, and crematorium manager.
For the past three years, she has dedicated herself to serving as a Funeral Celebrant, guiding families through some of life’s most emotional and personal moments.

Beyond her professional expertise, Rita-Marie’s personal journey has shaped her compassionate approach to every ceremony she conducts.
As a daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and cousin, she understands the importance of family and connection.
